COMMISSIONS
Hi, my name is Yolanda and I would love to paint your pet! I try my hardest to capture the spirit of the animal through my work.
While painting pet portraits is my first love, I am also happy to create other custom works. I love being able to immortalize a special subject, place or moment through art. I reserve the right to refuse a commission request if the request does not align with my body of work or if I believe the reference photo quality will not yield good results.
Conditions
A non refundable deposit of 50% will be required to hold your spot on my waitlist. I will not begin working on a painting until the deposit is paid. The deposit will hold your place on my waitlist and will be started as soon as previous orders are completed. Final payment will be due upon completion, before shipping.
If you need an order rushed, please let me know the date it is required by. I will let you know if I can complete it by then, a $40 rushed fee will be charged.
RATES
The following rates are for a single subject bust portrait (face to shoulders) with a simple coloured background. The final price will vary based on the number of subjects and complexity of the background elements.

Note: due to the longer drying times of oil paints, I highly suggest placing an order well in advance of the date required.

Watercolor Portraits
My classic watercolour portraits combine realism and abstraction. I focus areas of tight details around the eyes and use looser strokes as I work away from the face. I want the gaze of the animal to shine through above all else.

Line&Wash Portraits
Made with archival smudge proof ink and artist grade watercolour paints. Line and wash portraits are colourful and lively. These portraits are created with looser brushstrokes to bring a pop of cololur and fun to your wall.

Oil Portraits
Oil paint portraits have a beautiful richness and depth to them. Like my classic watercolour portraits, I like to keep details tighter around the face and loosen up as I move away from the face. All oil paintings are done on either wooden panels which can be hung on the wall as is or on primed flat panel boards which are perfect for framing. Flat panel boards are a great option for customers outside of Canada that wish to keep shipping costs lower
